Safeguarding Trust

At Lisburn Cathedral, we take our responsibility to create a safe environment seriously.

The Church of Ireland Code of Good Practice for Ministry with Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults.

Approved by the Standing Committee of the General Synod of the Church of Ireland, September 2007.

Our staff and any volunteers working with Children, Young People or Vulnerable adults will undergo Safeguarding Training as well as having an AccessNI check done.

Every organisation working with these groups will base their work on the best practices laid out in The Safeguarding Trust Policy Document.
