Young Adults

At Lisburn Cathedral we are passionate about creating space for young adults to feel part of community, to be encouraged and equipped to develop a deep resilient faith and to have a confidence to both share and live out their faith in their everyday context.

Young Adults is for those at university age up to 30ish.

There are two main areas of Young Adults ministry:

Discipleship: Lee and Beth host a home group that meets at their house every other week to focus on growing as followers of Jesus. In the words of John Mark Comer we want to learn to ‘Be with Jesus, Become like him and do the things that he did’. We meet together to spend time hanging out over tea, coffee and treats, study God’s word alongside various teaching resources and to pray together.

Community: Several times each term we meet  together to hang out and build community.
