Introducing the Third Abaana New Life Choir – Who I am Tour

This choir of 20 children hail from the beautiful country of Uganda, often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Africa.’ . They were selected through auditions from schools built by Abaana across Uganda They serve as ambassadors for their friends and families back home, sharing their stories through song and dance.

This tour is called  ‘Who I Am’ because we firmly believe that all of God’s children, regardless of the colour of their skin, educational background, age, or position in society, hold equal value and are equally loved by God. Poverty not only deprives children of an education and a future, but can also strip individuals of their identity and selfworth. We want everyone the choir encounters to know that you are loved and have worth! Witnessing the choir’s personal journey is inspiring. We are even more excited about the positive impact these children will bring back to Uganda. Through this experience, they aim to secure sponsorship for themselves and potentially 300-500 other children. This support will significantly change their lives, marking the start of their ‘Who I Am’ journey.

The choir will be performing at Lisburn Cathedral on Friday 29^th March at 7.30pm and Saturday 30^th March at 2pm.
